Try Prenatal & Postnatal Pilates workouts at Pilatesmith in Santa Monica!

If you’re a mom who wants to stay fit during and after pregnancy, we’ve got you covered!

Pilates is one of the best exercise methods to do both during and after pregnancy! One of the main reasons Pilates and pregnancy pair well together is that Pilates builds core strength; if your abs, back, and pelvic floor (Kegal) muscles are strong toned, they can support a more comfortable pregnancy and delivery. Pilates is also famous for helping moms get their figures back after the baby is born!

Women say they love Pilatesmith because they feel cared for, but leave feeling like they actually got a workout! We see women at every stage of pregnancy and offer Prenatal & Postnatal workouts in Group, Private, and Duo settings.

Feel free to share anything you think would be helpful and mention any fitness goals you might have. We love learning about each Smith so we can help you have the best experience possible!

I love going to prenatal pilates classes at pilatesmith. It is a really fun workout! I’m someone that likes to do a lot of exercise when I am pregnant. These classes help me to isolate and exercise muscles that may otherwise get ignored. In my last pregnancy I mostly did yoga and hiking, but in this pregnancy I am preferring pilates over yoga. And this is a huge surprise to me because I have so much more yoga experience than I do with pilates. The studio is a peaceful neighborhood vibe. The teachers are down to earth and caring. I just love it.

This studio is a super friendly place where all bodies are welcome. After just a few months, my outlook on workout studios changed due to the friendly and welcoming space for improvement that Jessica created. Jessica, Sophia, Talia and the many other instructors do a great job of pushing you while also remaining compassionate and empowering. If you want to remain positive in life, this studio is for you!
