Frequently Asked Questions
-
If you aren’t sure, starting with Private Training session is definitely the answer. It's the only way to learn Pilates, the equipment, and start to get familiar with our Athletic Pilates style.
Our Group Workouts are taught with an intentional pace and physicality, so it's expected that you can follow along, know how to use the equipment, and modify exercises when needed. Private Training gives you the foundation to do just that.
If you have previous Reformer Pilates experience, can listen and follow along, and know how to self-modify, you may be ready for a Group Workout. We recommend leveling down for your first visit and carefully reading the workout description before booking.

We like to jokingly say, “That’s like saying you have to be strong to go to the gym.” You don't need to be in shape to start - that's what we're here for!
Whether you're brand new to exercise or returning after time away, if your consistent you’ll build strength, improve your fitness, and move better over time.

It’s going to depend on what the injury is, how severe, and how long you’ve had it. If you take a Group Workout, it’s expected you know how to modify for it. If you aren’t sure, start with a Private Training session so you can meet with one of our expert Trainers and go from there.
-
We recommend 2-3 workouts per week, whether that’s Pilates or Pilates and other modalities.
It really comes down to your goals. The more often you do a modality and the closer the sessions are to one another, the easier it is to build on the progress made in the last session.
We have Smiths that come 5-6 days a week once they’re conditioned, so if you want to do that, we’d love to see you that often!
-
Yep! If you book from our website or app you can pick your spot. So if you prefer to hide out in back, be front and center, or be next to your workout buddy, you can take care of that when you’re booking so you don’t have to worry about it.
-
We do not! But we do offer body wipes as a free amenity in our bathrooms so you can refresh after your workout.
