The Trying to Conceive (TTC) period is a time when women should be able to take the best care of themselves. This is a time to embrace radical self care, and women’s health experts can’t overstate how important movement is at promoting overall well being. The last thing a woman needs to worry about is her workout. Or worse, sacrificing her workout.
We don’t think women are getting the information or care they need during the pre-pregnancy stage. Women deserve better.
That’s why Pilatesmith offers TTC Pilates. This format is offered in Group and Private settings and is only for women navigating this stage of life.

GROUP WORKOUT DESCRIPTION
Description: (Beginner) For women who want to work out during their TTC journey! Designed to support both the physical and emotional aspects of fertility, this gentle workout is for anyone trying to conceive, including those undergoing IVF or IUI treatments. We focus on all the things the woman's body needs during this time: safely building strength, breathing to reduce cortisol levels and ease the nervous system, enhancing circulation to the reproductive organs, reducing discomfort and inflammation, promoting weight management, and supporting your overall well-being to potentially improve your chances of success.
Why You'll Love It: During a time when your body and mind are going through so much, sacrificing your workout is the last thing you want to do! This is a time to embrace radical self care, and women’s health experts can’t overstate how important movement is at promoting your overall well being. This is a safe space where you can forget the calendar, move your body, and get those endorphins flowing. You'll also have the opportunity to meet and connect with other women who are trying to conceive.

Prerequisites:
You're familiar with Pilates and you consider your fitness and skill level to be beginner
We do not teach Pilates in a group setting, so if you are new to Pilates start with a Private Training session
If you have any questions, consult your doctor before booking
With doctor approval, safe during the implantation window (typically 6–12 days after ovulation)
While this workout is safe for those who aren't in the TTC phase of their life, we want to hold space for women who are trying to conceive
